Once you have applied the poultice application, simply place the hoof into the Decron Hoof Poultice Boot. This boot aids the horse by taking the weight from the hoof and allows the boot to absorb concussion and assists to remove the pain that the horse would normally feel when it is walking whilst recovering from your poultice application.
The most appropriate way of treating hoof issues is to
1. Clean the hoof sole and heel bulbs.
2. Apply a liberal amount of Decron Osmotic Gel to the hoof sole area.
3. Cover the hoof with a felt pad or cover with a gauze dressing. Secure this with a vetwrap bandage.
4. Place the hoof into the Decron Hoof Boot and then follow the instructions as shown below.
