This shadow roll is designed to help improve a horse’s focus and way of going by gently influencing their field of vision. Made from genuine wool fleece on a durable synthetic backing, it offers a soft yet structured feel for comfortable everyday use.

It fits neatly between the cheeks of the noseband and is positioned to partially restrict the horse’s downward vision. This encourages the horse to concentrate more on what is directly ahead, rather than becoming distracted by shadows, ground objects, or movement below.

The design is particularly useful for horses that tend to raise their head too high or evade the bit. By limiting upward-tilted visibility, the shadow roll naturally encourages the horse to lower its head in order to see forward clearly, which can be especially beneficial when schooling over fences or working on balance and frame.
