Back on Track - Scandic PK Leg Pads

The Scandic PK Padd is a supportive and highly functional leg wrap designed for use during recovery and transport, helping to protect and care for a horse’s lower limbs in a wide range of situations. Developed in collaboration with elite dressage rider Patrik Kittel and named after one of his horses, this design reflects professional-level insight into equine comfort and performance.

These pads feature a channel-stitched construction, allowing them to breathe effectively while naturally shaping to the horse’s legs. This structure helps maintain even contact and support without creating pressure points, making them suitable for extended wear during travel or rest periods. The outer layer is made from a stretchy terry fabric that simplifies wrapping and helps the pads stay securely in place, reducing issues such as slipping, twisting, or folding during movement.

Inside, the padding incorporates Welltex® technology, which is designed to reflect infrared energy (FIR). This is commonly used to support circulation and may assist in managing inflammation, swelling, tendon strain, and minor skin irritation or pressure marks.

The combination of cotton, polyester, and polyurethane materials creates a balance of softness, durability, and structured cushioning.
